I picked up my SRT in Florida and there was a nest under the black box by the battery. The OEM air box intakes had seeds stored in them, luckily it was not the car as the car had a CAI fitted.

Another car I had that was not used very often, hada chipmunk make a lovely nest of leaves behind a headlight, not needing electricity he chewed through the wires. I had spotted him jumping up the wheel well but I did not suspect what he was doing. I guess he was living there.

Chipmunks are charming creatures in the wild but they can be very destructive, just like the red squirrel that lives under my hot tub, I think he is the cause of the slow leak in it. A nice warm home in the winter for him but a lousy tenant for me. If there is no seed outside for the birds he sits and stares into the house wondering why I am slacking in putting food out for him. He's the winner and I lose.
