Just my $0.02
I made an emphatic point about the Mobil1 oil, in an email and in person. Also I had them bring me the old filter and the box that the new filter came in, so I could verify they changed it. If I've learned anything on this forum, I've learned to be cautious when dealing with dealers. When I was leaving, the service writer asked the service manager who was going to pay the difference in the cost of the Mobil1 over their regular oil, at first I thought they were going to hit me up for some cash, but the service manager said they would recover the difference from the sales department since the sales department sold me the contract.

At the time I bought the car I also purchased an extended powertrain warranty, so if there is engine failure, they'll have to repair or replace it, so I'm feeling pretty confident about everything. (knock on wood)
