My car was built 08/04, original battery, no problems. If the car sits for a couple weeks or more I will throw a charger on it for a bit to top it back up to full charge but other than that, no problems as of yet.
My old car had an OEM battery that lasted 10 years before giving up the ghost. A year and a half to go....
