I had a problem with my Crossfire insisting on blowing hot air regardless of any temperature settings on the heating system. My local automotive electrician diagnosed the fault as being the motorised valve that turns the hot water on and off. For £300 he kindly replaced the valve and it worked for a week or two. Now I need to select hot or cold before I start the engine because once I get moving the heating controls have no effect at all. The good old electrician has offered to have a look at it for me again but he says that he thinks I need a replacement heating control system which costs over £600. A grand to be able to choose the cabin temperature seems expensive. Can anyone offer any insights or advice.
