The buzz is totally gone! The fix just takes some patience...not necessarily easy, but patience works. Find you a disposable camel brush, about 1/2 inch wide...cover the split in the foam with rubber cement applied by the brush. If the tear is long or goes across the foam, take a sheet of tissue paper and cover the tear after you apply the rubber cement, then put a layer on top. if at all possible, put rubber cement on the _back_ side of the foam, as well. Let dry for a few hours before pumping any sound through it. It's been a few weeks for me and I've had no problems. I am sorry I didn't take any photos when I did mine!
