Actually, that's incorrect. The trans software in these cars limits the amount of torque the engine is providing based on input from the transmission, wheel speed sensors and ESP accelerometer. Lantana's car never put down more power than the trans could handle, hence why it didn't destroy it's self during the time he owned it. And for what it's worth, with a modified TCU where the torque limits are raised, a stock 32 motor will cook a W5A330 in about 4-5 months.
