I'm a new xover owner (1 week last Friday) and this is just what the doctor ordered. Whenever I get a spare minute I'm reading through one of the documents.
Quick question to you or anyone else listening, I wanted to take the headlights out to remove the frosting on the cover and the service manual references an access panel on the inter fender to remove the lower bolts. Do I need to remove the front wheel to access this panel? I couldn't find a diagram of this panel anywhere in the service manual.

If you are going to use this access panel, it is much easier if you do remove the wheel, however it is much better to leave the lights in the car and mask off surrounding areas.
These puppies are a real bi**ch to secure when removed without damaging the lower mounting tabs.
