Your dad must be one cool (and brave) dude. I bought a car for my 16 year old, but it was a Stratus. 2 door, black, tinted windows, spoiler, sporty looking, but not powerful enough to get her into too much trouble. I always ask her how she likes driving MY car that I am loaning her, but I think I lost that battle when she told me she named it "Stella".
Have fun, enjoy the car for all that it is, but above all - be safe. From what your dad has already posted, you don't need to be told that, but what could it hurt, right?
