A little lesson from an old guy. Over on the Imperial Club forum we have had this WIW discussion a hundred thousand times. The model having been out of production since 1993, there are no dealer sales and very, very few private party sales from now until the end of time. This is what we came up with:

1. On any given day, the car is worth what a seller and a buyer can agree on.

2. Nobody except a buyer can tell you what your car is worth on the open market. Anything else is just a guess.

3. This is the worst part -- just because Bill paid Bob $20K for a similar car does not mean Joe will pay you the same for yours.

Sorry if that does not give you the info you want, but it does tell you where NOT to look when estimating value. Those recent transactions mentioned in the replies involving actual buyers and sellers are your best guide.
