I am (also) a member of the Mercedes-Benz club and they have a listing of garages that are recommended by the members because of the quality of service provided.

Would this be a something that could work for the Xfire forum, particularly bearing in mind the shortage of specialist servicing outlets available and the strange reluctance of so called Mercedes specialists to recognise the Crossfire's heritage?

I am happy to put Chrysler Parts on my Mercedes as they come in a Chrysler box and inside is a bag with the mercedes logo and part number. I have just changed the gearbox connector which Mercedes wanted £26 for..... £8.60 delivered from Magnum automotive in Maidstone!..... There's the 1st recommendation for the list if it happens.
