Ordered the PLM unit and on there page as well as speaking with a sales rep its a direct bolt on for our cars and have a lifetime warranty,also I just read its not a direct fit for the slk due to the tow hook in the way.We have the car up and yes the left side endtank was cracked if you are facing the car.
If PLM is s direct bolt on, then they all are. The PLM is larger than stock so it's impossible for it yo go on without modifications to the car.
