Well I don't know about being cleaner under the lid than yours Darran, sure its clean but what let it down in my opinion was the SRT manifolds that were showing signs of "white furr" I set to work with scotchbrite / wirewool & although improving it was giving it the look of being cleaned up as opposed to factory finish. It just so happens that at my work we have a selection of blast equipment with various media types so I opted for the "glass bead vapour" bit the bullet & took the manifolds off & gave them the treatment this restored the "as new" finish I wanted, I then could not resist the urge to polish the SRT letters.
My next task is to tackle the paint arround the boot catch as you did, before she goes back on the road 1st of April.
