hi david hope your keeping well...mechanically with regular oil changes they are pretty bombproof (no timing belt ) some earlier ones can be prone to a bit of rust in the area of the tailgate catch and the bottom of the doors where the weather strip sits, mechanical parts are easy to come by as they are all MB, tax on the post march 06 is steep at £460, check the heated seats still work, tyres can be pricey, had mine almost 3 years now and still enjoy driving it, not too bad on petrol for a 3.2 litre mid to high 20`s depending how heavy your right foot is.....best of luck mate there are some bargains out there....chris
