Just thought i'd share this with you, yesterday I got one of those phone calls that restores your faith in customer service, something which is so often sadly lacking in todays society.
When I bought my Crossfire a few weeks ago i ordered some over mats from a company called simplycarmats, when they came they looked awesome in respect of overall quality and the
Crossfire logo's which I had specified, they cost around £45 including delivery.
However when I came to put them in I found the fitment wasnt quite right, the drivers side overlapped up the sill and the locator holes were slightly too small to go properly over the pegs on the floor, also the drivers side mat caught the clutch pedal a bit, they went in but I wasnt impressed, a couple of weeks later I got one of those 'tell us how we did' customer service emails from them so I responded and politely explained the problems at the same time complimenting them on the quality of the mats but expressing disappointment about the fitment and questioning the description of 'tailored' car mats.
Within 24 hours i got a phone call from them to discuss the problems, the chap was very apologetic and asked me if I would be good enough to send them a couple of photo's showing the problems as he couldnt understand what had gone wrong, I fully expected him to ask for them to be sent back for replacement to which I would have told him it wasnt worth the hassle of posting and not to worry I would sort them out myself by opening up the fixing holes and re-positioning them when I got time.
But to my surprise he went on to say that if I could live with them he would be happy to refund the entire purchase cost back to my credit card and he apologised once again for the poor fit and promised to buy in some genuine mats and measure them up before he dispatched anymore Crossfire orders.
Now you cant beat that can you? it left that nice warm feeling in my heart as you just dont get this type of customer service nowadays!!
