Default Steering is binding

First thing in the morning lately (winter) when backing out of the driveway I crank the wheel all the way and it feels like its binding or skidding. Same thing when I try to go forward.

It feels alot like how my Jeep drives if I lock the rear differential while in 2wd (the locker forces both rear tires to turn at the same speed). When I try to turn sharp at low speeds the rear axle tries to push me straight, therefore causing the front tires to plow straight (understeer). That same scuffing/binding feeling I get in the Jeep steering wheel is the feeling I am now getting in the crossfire, but it makes no sense... Unless someone put a locker in the differential of the crossfire when I wasn't looking.

Any ideas?
