This thread looks a little old but I would still like to say that in my experience
the "light out" light would come on as well and the problem was also the passenger side front marker (Orange) If your light out light comes on and you don't detect any obvious bulbs blown head light. tail light etc then 99% of time it means that one of the bulbs on the side markers is about to die and it is barely making it so that's why the computer detects it as a "light out" I replaced the bulb on both of my front markers and never had the problem again.
