Default UPsolute Chip Tuning Crossfire Group Buy!

Greetings Crossfire Owners!

I'm the New England Region representative for UPsolute Chip Tuning.

As a new visitor to your site, I figured the best way to introduce myself was to come offering gifts...

I'm posting today to gauge interest in a group buy for UPsolute chip tuning for the Crossfire, I can offer a very nice savings if there are 10 or more interested parties. The group buy would be handled through me, for installation locally in Northbridge, MA, USA 01534, or via USPS insured Express mail.

The group buy price would be just $350, including installation labor or insured return express shipping to lower-48 states. This is a $75 discount off of our regular price!

If you are interested, please start a list in this thread, or send me an email at sramsey@upsolute.com. I require a deposit of $100 to hold your place on the group buy. This can be done via check or PayPal. The balance will be paid at time of install or enclosed with your ECU if you mail it to me. Cash or check is preferred. I can accept MC/VISA using PayPal, but there is a 3% fee for this. PayPal may be used without fees for the deposit only.
IMPORTANT: The deposit is refundable if less than 10 sign up and the group buy does not happen. If 10 or more commit, the deposit is not refundable or transferable.

The group buy period begins today March 2, 2006, and runs through March 31, 2006. Once 10 have committed with deposit, I will begin to schedule the installations. If the 10 required are not met by March 31, 2006, the offer will end and deposits will be refunded.

In the list, I would like:
Screen-name Year engine/transmission DC/MB ECU part number Bosch ECU part number

Tuning notes:
We tune the Crossfire just like we tune Mercedes, as a custom/semi-custom chip. I perform a readout of each ECU's stock code. I have a database of files organized by the Bosch ECU number. If there is a match in the file's embedded ECU numbers *AND* stock checksum, then I can install the corresponding existing tuned file. Otherwise, the stock file gets sent electronically to our experts at HQ in Austria where they analyze the maps and apply the tuning parameters, creating a new tuned file based on your exact stock code. We do this to ensure the chip-tuned file is built from the OEM code used in your exact car. Occasionally the code in the ECU does not match the label on the ECU…with our method we ensure 100% compatibility.

93 octane is recommended for best performance, 91 min.

About me:
I joined UPsolute in October of 2003. I'm a Hardware Engineer (BS-EE, Penn State, 1995) and "car nut". I use safe, professional ECU re-work tools and methods to install your new tuning. The only services I offer are ECU re-work.

About UPsolute:
UPsolute has been in the US since 2000, and even longer in Europe. HQ is located in Austria, having recently completed a major expansion and construction of a new state-of the art tuning, installation and dyno facility.

All of our tuning files are developed on-site at HQ using appropriate-market OEM code. With many years of experience working with the MB engines and control systems in your Crossfire, you can be assured of a quality tune!
