There are actually two of those valves, one for each cylinder bank.
They are mounted top front of the engine, really easy to get to.
On a DIY difficulty scale of 1 to 2, I'd rate this a 2 .......
( means you will need the proper tools : a phillips head screw driver )

They could also be talking about the swichover valve :
