not exactly john. drilled rotors evacuate the gasses , slotted rotors scrape the surface of the pads cleaning any abrasion or pad material that has glazed to allow full contact during braking.
btw the proper logo for the caliper covers would be ate. this is who built the caliper and doesnt offend either the m/b crowd or the mopar crowd because its accurate
