They don't always work. Battery cable off is a sure thing. Key all the way on but don't start it, push throttle pedal to the floor for few seconds 5 sounds good, continue to hold pedal to the floor and turn key off. Do a 5 count and release pedal. Like I said, it doesn't always work. I like taking the positive cable off.
