Holy crap. I work on heavy equipment and have had many problems working on Komatsu equipment due to their oddball sizes and flare angle. Wonder why in the world that fitting was chosen over the traditional JIC that is used in the entire rest of the world.
Oh well, good to know if I decide to start playing around.
Any chance the NA version of the motor uses the same style/size fittings?
Oh yeah, not that it matters but a size six is commonly referred to as a "dash 6" in the industry. Adapters and fittings can be found at most good hydraulic supply stores and are usually quite inexpensive.
