Yes, youre probably right, I stand corrected MrMaita... appreciated... knowledge is welcomed.

I've recently got this gadget and still learning, found it very informative and lots of info learned from it.
The next thing on my list from E-Bay is a plug in tool and adapter and software for the laptop to fiddle with settings and optimisations.... learning slowly and its interesting to see in real-time what your engine is doing...... not going to adjust anything until I have a good idea of whats going on tho

===================

What I was trying to describe in a few short words, that this gizmo may nail down the faulty part for our friend here for very few $$$Dollars, compared to spending a fortune at the dealer every time the car is plugged in, and it will give a running commentary of faults and issues for you....

It aso gives torque / miles per gallon and lots more and even works with the GPS fone function and works out fuel consumption. Searches out ALL sensors ir crank and cam sensers, EGR issues, all temperatures and pressures and gives all their % readings, and whether anything has failed or out of expected tollerance... I was amaized at just how much information is available and on show.... cool stuff indeed.

This maybe helpful to our friend here with his electrical issues to find the culprit part, as this little device will find it most likely.

Understanding that I'm a novice with the information this device spews out, but its great fun learning, and as MrMaita correctly says, I'm playing gently here and learning...
