I spend hours and hours keeping my stuff clean detailed and looking great. It's like someone else said it's a zen thing, it relaxes me and gives me a lot of pleasure. I have a '99 Jeep Cherokee that has never spent a single night in garage and that has been off-road a lot that still looks brand new inside and out. In 2006 I took it to a Jeep Jamboree and it was covered in mud top to bottom, two weeks later it won a trophy in a car show. The XF I just bought is going to be an entirely different challenge. It's the first black car I have owned in my almost 60 years and like the Jeep it does not have a garage to sleep in. Unlike the Jeep I intend to store it during the winter months.
