I've only had my SRT for a bit over a year but the car itself has 90K on it. I have had no problems with the S/C except for the inter-cooler pump (I/C). Replaced that myself for about $120 in parts and have had no other problems. As a precaution, since I have never owned a car with an S/C, I purchased a drivetrain warranty that covers the S/C for 3 years / 36,000 miles. Don't know if I'll ever need it, but it's looking like I won't.

Also, before I knew much about these cars, I test drove an N/A just to see if it was what me and the Mrs. wanted. We liked it but couldn't find a decent one in our price range. Then, this SRT came up for sale and it was in our range - I thought it had to be a piece of crap. It wasn't. And when we test drove it, we knew it would be an SRT (not an N/A) if we were to buy one. I'm pretty sure that the price was so low because the I/C pump was failing and I would bet the previous owner and the dealership thought the S/C was shot. $120 later and it was back to full power - thanks to this site

Good luck on your search - I'm sure your car is out there somewhere
