I had purchased a 2000 300M and a re-call on the seat belts was to add/attach a button midway on the belt itself with its purpose being to provide a stop for the belt when dis-engaged. This keeps the belt from going all the way back into its receptor and allows easier use when connecting.
It was very helpful.
