One of the best evenings ever at the Fontana lodge was a Sunday when those who stayed over (about 20 or so) took over the Bar and spent the evening there.

Yes, we paid the lodge for our drinking but all was well and no impositions on anyone.

Yes it was cool that we basicaly took over the lodge and enjoyed the main lobby for our event. But, I always felt like we were imposing, just a little, on other guests. Most establishments would have insisted we "get a room" for our hospitaliity functions. After all,that is how it is normaly done.

I don't see this as a big deal. And as you suggested, why not give the business to our hosts?
