I know this is going off topic and it has been talked about numerous times before... but why change every 3,000 miles? Use the synthetic Mobil 1 as called for and do your oil changes by what the FSS says. The system has been around for awhile in MB cars and there seems to be no engine problems associated with the FSS schedule and synthetic oil.
