Okay, another question: Any guess as to how many XF Limited coupes had the 6-speed manual? It seems as if every XF in So Cal has an automatic. I've never owned a car with an automatic transmission, but I will admit, that when either stuck in stop-and-go traffic or slow traffic, it does get to be a pain to creep along with frequent clutch ins and outs.

I read one review which was mostly okay with the automatic except when needing to accelerate in mid range. I gather the auto transmission either needs either to be 'booted' or 'shifted down by hand' in that situation. I added the latter comment not knowing how easy it is to manually change gears on this automatic.

For instance when I need to quickly gain speed on an on ramp from a stand-still to 65 is the auto 'willing to' to stay in lower gears before shifting up? Or does the ECU 'error' on the safe/fuel economy side?

I'm not ready to buy at this time, but I want to look at a XF Limited some distance away and not sure if they'll let me drive it if I'm not ready to buy on the spot.
