Crusher, what's going on here with the white tabs and red arrows on the intake side?

JesseJamesSRT6..Good picture of the slots on the V-8. Thanks.... The two slots that have the white paper with red arrows is located on the back side of our supercharger. These can be seen after removing the throttle body snout. These two slots have a 3/16" hole thats drilled 8" deep into the supercharger's body. The two holes reach all the way into the plate that has two unused large threaded holes on the top side. This plate with two large threaded holes is located close by our clutch. Not knowing the purpose of these small 8" deep holes,I didn't want to have them welded shut. They may be some kind of vent for the oil?? So I lifted my tab to be welded in a 1/16 of a inch. The small deep holes are still open but have a tab with a gap over them to breath at a 90 degree angle now if necessary. I cut two strips of paper with arrows, then slid them between the welded tab and the supercharger body to show the vented gap for a picture. Squirrel Crusher
