I just picked up my xfire last week and I think I’m having the exact problem you are. What I have noticed is that the drivers power seat works correctly for about 3 minutes and then it quits. If I let the car sit with key off and doors closed for a while when I come back the seat is working again.
I pulled the relay out and checked the diodes, touched up all the solder joints everything looks OK. Put it back in the seat worked for a few minutes and quit. Went to pull the rely out again and it was very hot.
I don’t know if something is drawing a lot of current and overheating a circuit or if the rely just fails to work when it heats up.
From what I see the problem was solved when he replaced the relay.
