Similar to Latemeodel21, I made a jig using a 2x4 but with a routed channel down it to accept the stalk to fit into and help shape it when pressure is applied to it. Just havent used it yet.
while the lever seemed to bend safely without the "routed channel" .... I like this improvement !
I have often used a (V) pulley to act as a mandrel when bending tubing ... this "routed channel" seems like a good way to go for ultimate safety (against compromising the tube while bending).
