I agree with X-LR8... "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound cure". My Dealer has treated me like a "King" thus far. When I bring my car in for service I put seat cover on, I cover my speaker grilles and illuminated sills, and like Andrew...I tell them not to wash it. I also video tape the car before it goes in with the Service Writer in the video with full sound. I am also very, very **** about the cleanliness of my Roadster Limited.
