While at work today I was wiring a panel box (my wonderful case of ADD in full swing) I came across this idea. My Subarus headlights turn on and off with my handbrake... I know that the crossfire has a switch on the handbrake to detect its position on/off couldn't the power wire from the head light switch be first fed through this switch and the light switch always be left on? I don't have my crossfire anymore but I can't even guess the amount of times I left my lights on out of habit from my Subaru. If I remember right the headlight switch assembly is unbelievably expensive so modifying the unit it's self isn't a great idea.
