The wing motor operates via limit switch... if the switch is on its way out, it can prematurely "stop" the wing at a lower height. There's a chance the shop can source a new limit switch and install, but if that doesn't work you might need a new assembly. To my knowledge, the components of the wing assembly are not separately serviceable.
