If you get a good bright light and look at the bottom edge where the plug goings into the connector you will see a clip that holds the plug into the connector. Push in on the connector in the center of the bottom edge. It will come right out. The first time I removed it I pushed a small artist paint brush handle into the edge of the connector and it came right out. Not hard if you know it is there. Hope this helps!
