I did mine with 3m super77 nearly three years ago, but my friend sprayed it using a compressor setup, not rattle cans, it worked very well. I took off the old fabric and scuffed the surface, but did virtually no prep at all.

I used CF on mine and it looks great, it is not pulling away anywhere, yet. I had to very slightly bend the HL to get it in and out, but nothing that would damage it.

That sucks it was such a pain for you. It sure does look good when it is done, doesn't it?

I am thinking of carrying mine all the way back through the rear of the car, covering all the grey plastic...
