This is unlikely to be about politics but pure burocracy.

I have spent hours at the border going in because I was enering to conduct "business" not recreation.

But to be fair it works both ways.

Keep in mind goods and services are subject to tarrifs andhopefully inspections. It is how we protect our borders and often how we fund our treasuries.

Both nations do have government leaders who could have facilitated the crossing. Where were they in this? Likely layers and layers away in the burgoing burocracy and therefore seemingly guiltless.

Whether for revenge or simply incompetence, the fact still remains,the government was too large and immovable here to do the right thing. You are welcome to your own conclusions about the cause.

On the Thread topic; last night's tornadoes came close to us here in St. Peter's MO and passed directly over ERZR's place just east of us. He and his place ar fine, some tree and fence damage. His lovely wife and beautiful roadster are also fine.
