There is also an o-ring at the top of the threads on the oil filter housing/cartridge cap. If that o-ring is damaged you would get leakage from it. I have not seen just that o-ring for sale. You may have to purchase the entire filter cartridge. Someone else may be able to chime in on how to get just the o-ring.
