Can anyone help with this problem.

I've had my xfire from new for nearly 4 months now, it's great but...after 1 month the alarm has suddenly started going off after I'd armed the car, usually within 1 - 10 mins after locking.

but...it's not all the time, it can go for a week an it's fine, then one day it will go mad! and I can't shut it up! the dealer thought it could be the bonnet catch, but it wasn't, then they thought it was my aftermarket sony stereo and ipod, so I kept the stereo off and sure enough it went away for about a 10 days, so I sold it and got a top notch alpine one fitted, the problem was gone...2 days later, it went off again last night and tonight!!! it went off again, so I started the car without the stereo on or headlights on, turned off the car...then it went off again, so I left the car for 10 mins unlocked then went back and armed car fine. Leaving the car unlocked for 10 mins, then re-arming, seems to do the trick.

Does anyone have any ideas what on earth is going on!!!! the stereo people and the dealer are stumped.
