But xfire1 you know as well as I do that a little extra cash in the hand goes a long way at getting things done. I do a lot of business in NYC and I always carry a few large bills to "take care" of the ones that take care of me. I would think that you being from NYC, you of all people would understand that.
Anyway, no harm meant, its all good.
KNOWIT... something is amiss here... either you or I is missing the point... if it is me well...!?!?
Tipping is irrelevant. If you are campaigning for Better Tips for the Needy, this is the wrong (in my belief) forum. Especially accusing people of being cheap...
If you really want to know... I get questioned by my wife ALL the time when i tip... it IS usually too much (if it is warranted by excellent service)... and during the days when i was a struggling ...up and coming "something", trying to keep food on the table/ business and school, i would tip well, even if it hurt my own pocket. What i've learned is... the BEST tips come from the people who know WHAT hard work is. I owned a company in the service industry for Many many years... and found that blue collar workers are the Best tippers... as the white collar crowd tends to give no more than 20%.
However... with all due respect to you XFbrother... i found it foul to rip a fellow XF brother... AERO ...that way in this type of forum.
Diplomacy is the best route before an attack... i believe you attacked 1st.
So as you wanted to SHOW AERO what you think is right, i feel i am showing proper etiquette. This forum is the last place i want to see people trashing... like you say i am in NY and its ALL ABOUT RESPECT.
Take care...
