Looked at the site safecar.gov and right now there looks to be about 150 complaints filed with the NHTSA. Mine is supposed to be up within 48 hours. I believe it's only a matter of time before this is a nationwide recall. If you have had this problem, please call the NHTSA @ 888-327-4236 or file at safecar.org.

One issue I see at safecar.gov is that there are three different listings where the complaints are filed; under the 2005 Crossfire, the 2005 Crossfire Convertible, and the 2005 Crossfire Roadster. When all complaints are added up, it's around 150.
