Default Re: Interior paint removal?

I used the same method 180 pointed you too only I used paint thinner and it worked fine. It took me a few days I removed everything even the steering wheel and painted it all with interior paint I got from advance auto. I wouldn't consider any other type of spray paint this stuff worked awesome and on hot days you couldn't smell paint at all inside. This stuff held up great the entire time I had the car I was surprised! Good luck and do your self a favor look up the tutorial on how to tear the dash apart it's do able but a huge pain in the a$$ lots of hidden screws. I ended up trading my head light switch for a black Mercedes one and I bought black air vents on eBay under slk 230 because I couldn't get the paint off them.
