There are a couple things behind the seat backs -- there's two 'pegs' in the trunk and two large flat 'discs' behind the seats themselves. both mounted on the bulkhead... they hold the carpet in place.

Near the center mounted pocket (between the seats) there's also a pair of 'clips' that are supposed to be an umbrella holder.
