Default Fuel Requirement

Greetings from a newbie This week I acquired a 2004 Crossfire and got to questioning what fuel to use but could not find a solid answer online. Mine is the base 3.2 litre V6. Can I run 87 regular, or should it be 89 plus or 93 high octane? Was not about to find the compression ratio handily online so I'm not really sure.

This is my first Chrysler. My other car is a Mercedes 380SL from 1985 and I'm a regular on the Benzworld.org forum. I also collect Studebakers and have had a couple Packards as well.

I know my r107 Benz runs on 87 regular, but the Studebakers have required higher octane depending on compression ratio and (in the case of the supercharged Avanti) 93 only.

What say you all?
