Not arguing that it cant be done by just changing the module ,but just wondering what else may change with the code ?

The only thing I noticed after he did that was that when you turned the ignition off, and got out of the vehicle , was that the fog lights, tail lights, corner marker lights and parking lights would come on for about 30 secs and then turn off.
I don't know if it always did that since I only had the car for a day and didn't notice before, or if it was the result of the coding.
Can anybody tell me if it is normal to have those lights come on after you turn off ignition
and exit the car ?
There was no enabling done, the computer recognized that the module was a US version that's all.
Both my Crossfires had the lights that come on as you mentioned, one was a Canadian spec car and the other a US spec car. It is a security measure so you have light while you enter your house etc.
