Hope you can help. I looked all through the forums and can't find this one

It seems as if my trans is in too high of a gear all the time. I'm in 4th gear at -30 mph and the car is always sluggish and ******* it.

My IC pump is new and working , I had a leak in the trans o ring and replaced it and checked the fluid per the manual and help on here.

I'm going to try a throttle reset later but was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

When I jump on it it will downshift and takes off like I want it to but under normal acceleration it's really sluggish. My rpms are around 1400-1600 most of the time and it shifts around 25-2800 under normal acceleration.
