1)Checked, checked and rechecked the brake light bulbs (not the high center light). They are working and they are they are the correct bulbs
2)I installed a new fuse, made sure the brake lights were working a went for a drive. The fuse lasted about 5 min. and 15 brakes.
3)Pulled the relay, drove about 2 hours and countless brakes over 5 days. No brake lights at this time. The fuse did not blow and the "light out sign" did not come on.
4)Installed a new brake relay, the fuse blew with in 2 min. of starting the car and touching the brake."light out sign" is back on.

Now to check the wiring.
