Michelins are no better (if not worse) than other brands. My Pilot AS sidewalls have been cracking and the inner cords have been coming through on all four tires. Not something you would expect from a tire that has 30,000 (normal driving) miles on it. I've been on the phone with Michelin and they said this is a common problem with that tire and corporate is calling me tomorrow to figure out how to compensate. They are telling me that it's only that one type of tire that is having that issue but I would try another brand...
If it counts for anything, they have good customer service though...
