Attended my 1st Chrysler Nationals with the 2007 Limited Coupe. Met a lot of new friends and fellow enthusiasts. Weekend was sorta down & up. Rained Friday evening & then lightly rained all morning Saturday. Started up at the showfield while I was finishing up cleaning the wheels. Folks probably wiped their cars down 2-3x that morning. Clouds finally left shortly before noon and the afternoon was actually somewhat nice. Humid but with a breeze. CICCI/COM put together a little cookout for us back at the hotel Friday evening. Really a very nice social event. My hats off to those that had an active role in putting this together.

Lots of great looking XFires. Don't remember the exact split but we were somewhere around 30 cars in attendance. Interesting factoid - no red or white XFires in attendance! Can't remember a major event without a white or red XFire showing up. Got quite a few pictures of showfield - XFires, Prowlers, & Vipers. We were all together. Even snagged a 3rd Place Carlisle award for the 2007 Machine Gray Limited Coupe (once again - the ONLY Machine Gray XFire in attendance!). Had several fellow XFire Owners ask me about the car. Some had never seen a Machine Gray version or even knew that color existed. That's one of the reasons why I bought it! Will post pictures this week.

Got home Sunday evening around 6:30 PM. Uneventful drive home. Hope everyone else made it home safe.
