Yeah, back in the 80's, I had a 1979 L-82 Corvette with the gymkhana suspension, Muncie rock crusher 4 spd, and every option including the very rare Indy pace car spoilers and AM/FM cassette CB radio. A guy who had a red Pantera offered to trade with me with a few grand thrown in. I loved the car, but I was concerned parts would become a problem to get when needed, so I passed on that deal. The Vette was fast for it's time, and I used to drag race it at the strip every so often. I was hard to get it hooked up as there were no electronics in those days and tires sucked too. Had to use glue on them and do a good burnout to get them hot. I had the catalytic converter off and quad pipe straight through Monza mufflers which gave it a really cool exhaust sound.
